Nourish the Heart, Nourish the Body

I had a moment of feeling super overwhelmed and small, and then I snapped out of it thanks to a delicious meal with good friends. My dear friend Rochelle cooked my last meal in south jersey....flank steak with a chimichurri (Evoo, garlic, cilantro, lime and salt) served with the most epic roasted sweet potatoes and black beans, and creamy delicious avocado. It was so nourishing and just what my spirit (and belly) needed. I shed a few tears as I hugged her goodbye but she's one of those people that I have had forever and will forever be a part of me no matter where I am....
