Champagne and Chatarunga's

The first beach yoga class of the summer was a GREAT SUCCESS. Thanks so so so very much to everyone who came out! We were lucky with a beautiful morning, only a light sea breeze blowing so to not make it too chilly! The class was held just a few feet from the ocean, and we even got to see a few dolphins pass by. And the icing on the cake was CHAMPAGNE at the end of class!! Big thanks to Teddy Lyons, who has come to my classes since day one, for providing us with a lovely bottle of bubbles to toast to another amazing summer of beach yoga!!

Me leading the class.

I finished class today with this poem...

"Just for now, without asking how, let yourself sink into stillness.
Just for now, lay down the weight you so patiently bare upon your shoulders.
Feel the earth receive you, and the infinite expanse of the sky
grow even wider as your awareness reaches up to meet it.
Just for now, allow a wave of breath to enliven your experience.
Breath out whatever blocks you from the truth.
Just for now be boundless, free, with awakened energy
tingling in your hands and your fee.
Drink in the possibility of being who and what you are -
so fully alive that the world looks different, newly born and vibrant,
just for now." --- "The Winds of Change" a poem by Donna Faulds
