Erin Lynn GEORGE.

Erin Doyle and I have been friends since....well, forever. Our moms were besties and that was how it all began. We've remained great friends over the years, and yesterday she got married! The wedding was GORGEOUS. She was married outside at the Stone Harbor Golf Club. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and you couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to say your vows. And then...the party. Good god almighty was it a good party. I was a lush and drank alot - but I also threw down some serious food (the food at the SHGC is pretty epic). Outside on the patio they started us with these crunchy spicy tuna rolls that were to die for. There were dumplings as well, and there was a raw bar set up. The guys were walking around with seared scallops on a potato pancake, and the most fantastic and surprisingly simple appetizer of garlic toast, with mozzarella melted on top and roasted red pepper. Oye! Dinner was surf and turf: filet, a crab cake, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. And then...we danced. And danced. And danced. We danced until the cows came home. And then LP, god bless him, picked us up and put us to bed. An amazing night, celebrating the love of two very special people. AMEN!
