Rishikesh is a town of yoga, for yoga, and anything and everything "yoga". Seriously. It's warm and sunny during the day and cool and crisp at night. I'm staying right on the sacred Ganges and just steps away from endless amazing yoga studios. I enjoyed a deeeelicious Thali this afternoon for 70 rupes and became friends with the owner, Deepak. My apartment is a bit expensive, $9.45 a night...but it's freaking HUGE. All the $3 places in town are booked solid, but I'll be moving into one of them in 2 weeks time. I stocked my kitchen and cabinets with goodies, cleansed the energy of my apartment with sage, and took in an Iyengar yoga class with my new friend Matt. Life is good.
